BATHROOM REMODEL
On this bathroom remodel we installed a Nuheat cable floor heating system. After applying Custom’s LevelQuik latex primer to the sub-floor, we then laced the heating wire in the main traffic areas of the bathroom. The next step of the process was to cover the wire using Custom’s LevelQuik RS self-leveling underlayment to create a smooth and level floor. We applied Redgard Waterproofing membrane to all the vertical surfaces prior to tile installation. The floor was then covered in Scheluter Ditra uncoupling membrane to create a waterproof and crack resistant surface. The room was tiled with a beautiful white Thassos marble 12”x12”. The end results were a very clean and modern looking bathroom that was built to last a lifetime.
PATIO FLOOR
On this project we installed Daltile’s Dal-Cim 500 crack prevention membrane over the concrete slab to insure a superior bond and crack free floor. We then installed 9" x 48" wood plank tile in a staggered joint on the two adjacent sides of the patio. A 6"x36" wood plank tile was installed in a herringbone layout in the center section of the patio. A custom glass mosaic was then inlayed to border the center herringbone.
